Sir Paul McCartney’s upcoming Australian tour has grown this morning, with the addition of second Sydney and Melbourne shows.
Tickets for the tour officially go on sale to the general public at various times across the day today.
But before they do, Frontier Touring has confirmed that tickets have sold so well during the pre-sale that there’s enough demand for second dates in our two most populous cities.
But, they’ve warned, these are the final dates to be added to what is Sir Paul’s first Australian tour in 24 long years.
“We’ve been waiting to get back to Australia and New Zealand for years and now it’s finally happening,” he said in an earlier statement.
“It is very exciting. I’m really looking forward to the concerts as we’ve always had such a brilliant time whenever we’ve been before so we know we are in for a treat. Can’t wait to see you and all rock out together.”
The Melbourne shows go first (midday AEST), followed by Perth (11am local time), Brisbane (2pm AEST) and Sydney (5pm AEST).
