• In a mini midweek edition of The Purge, Aussie crooner Mark Vincent has confirmed a trio of live shows later in the year. In celebration of his latest album ‘A Tribute To Mario Lanza’, the affable performer will play QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane on October 29, Sydney’s State Theatre on November 09 and Hamer Hall in Melbourne on November 12. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
• Pierce Brothers are also out on tour later this year. In support of their album ‘The Records Were Ours’, the Melbourne duo will play a total of 14 shows across the country throughout August and September, even making a stop in Darwin (at the Studio Theatre) on September 02. Tickets for these dates are on pre-sale at 8am today, with general public sales from 8am this Friday, July 07.
• And the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender will be back in Sydney from August 31 to September 03. But organisers have revealed that this year, there’ll be a Road To Weekender; shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide in the week leading up to the event. The first line-up is due to land on July 11; the same day tickets will go on sale.
