Brad invited much loved ’90s boy band CDB onto a boat for a fun little chat last week.
The boys might have just wrapped up a tour with R&B legends Keith Sweat and Teddy Riley, but they’re set to hit the stage at 170 Russell in Melbourne tonight, ahead of two dates in Sydney late next month.
After that they’ll be on tour again in the support role on the Peter Andre tour throughout November.
Andrew, Brad, Gary and Danny first rose to prominence throughout the 1990s, with top 20 hits like ‘Hey Girl (This Is Our Time)’, their breakout smash ‘Hook Me Up’ and their platinum selling cover of ‘Let’s Groove’.
They recently got back into the groove with the release of their new covers album ‘Tailored For Now – Eleven R&B Super Jams’ back in May. It included the boys’ covers of classic R&B gems like ‘All My Life’, ‘End Of The Road’ and ‘This Is How We Do It’.
But CBD have revealed that they have now started to work on from fresh original music.
In the video, the boys reflect on the nostalgia surrounding ’90s R&B before playing a game of ‘What Would You Rather (’90s Edition)’. Play along in the video below between ‘Seinfeld’ or ‘Friends’, ‘Toy Story’ or ‘The Lion King’, ‘Spice Girls’ or ‘Destiny’s Child’ and many more.
Speaking of Destiny’s Child, the boys talk about almost supporting them on tour, supporting Madonna, as well as the honour of meeting both Keith Sweat and Teddy Riley and being humbled to have the opportunity to work with the latter on original music.
The album ‘Tailored For Now – Eleven R&B Super Jams’ is available now.
