And there’s seemingly no slowing down Armin’s popularity; we’re told that the track has been streamed more than seven million times globally since its release.
• I Oh You signing Jack River will celebrate the recent release of her single ‘Fools Gold’ with headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne next month. She’s set to play the Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney on Thursday September 07 before heading down to Melbourne ot play the Northcote Social Club two days later. Tickets for both dates are on sale now.
• Wu Tang Clan’s GZA will be in the country in November this year for shows in all five main capital cities. A gig at Fowlers Live kicks off proceedings on November 15, before he takes the tour to Brisbane (Woolly Mammoth on Nov 16), Sydney (Manning Bar on Nov 17), Melbourne (Max Watt’s on Nov 18) and Perth (Rosemount Hotel on Nov 19). A fan club pre-sale starts at 9am today and runs through to 9am on Friday, which is when general public tickets go live.
• Harbourlife will be back on picturesque Sydney Harbour on Saturday November 18 and as always, the gang behind it is serving up a roll call of great entertainment. The 2017 event will feature performances from the likes of Set Mo, Daniel Avery, Jax Jones, Made In Paris and more. A pre-sale for Optus customers is already live, but the general public will have the chance to get their hands on tickets tomorrow (Thursday August 10) at midday.
• Organisers of Gippsland’s NYE On The Hill have dropped their 2017 line-up and it’s a doozy. In addition to both Ball Park Music and Regurgitator (who were announced last week), there’ll be performances from Japanese Wallpaper, Gretta Ray, Gold Class, Thando, West Thebarton and many more. Tickets are on sale at 9am tomorrow.
• And another line-up announcement this week is for the Inland Sea Of Sound 2017. Bernard Fanning, Meg Mac, Dan Sultan, Megan Washington and Mia Dyson are among the artists set to perform for audiences at Mount Panorama – Wahluu in Bathurst on November 03 and 04. And, wouldn’t you know it… tickets are also on sale tomorrow.
