The uber-talented Megan Washington will play a series of shows with Symphony Orchestras across the country from late next month.
Some of the country’s finest musicians will join Megan on stage for shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart; the run of dates kicking off with back to back shows at the Sydney Opera House, backed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
But wait… there’s more. Washington will be performing her forthcoming fourth studio album in its entirety.
“It’s an absolute life highlight to be able to work with orchestras of this calibre”, the songstress says in a statement.
“When considering repertoire for these shows, it was very important to me that I focus on the future and present new work. I want to look musically forward, not back.
“Essentially these shows are decadent, extravagant album previews for my new record, which will be out next year. It’s going to be a sumptuous, romantic art party.”
