Watch as Brad sits down for his latest chat; this time with Aussie country singer songwriter Tim Wheatley.
The son of music great Glenn Wheatley, Tim recently dropped his second album ‘Pillar To Post’, so Brad couldn’t resist the opportunity to have a chat with him at Sony Music HQ to talk about playing at the Gympie Music Muster, the singles ‘Her Wicked Ways’ and ‘Better Days’ and his album launch shows.
Tim’s been busy of late, performing at the recent Gympie Muster (he shared the stage with both Jessica Mauboy and Judah Kelly).
He explains that travelling from LA to Brisbane to Sunshine Coast to Gympie takes a lot out of him, but he’d do it all again for the incredible embracing community at the music festival.
He’s no stranger to arduous travel to perform at music festivals. He also had to travel virtually overnight from the Port Fairy Folk Festival in South West Victoria to make the iconic SXSW festival in Austin, Texas earlier this year.
Following on from his album launch show in Sydney this Friday, Tim will fly to Nashville to perform at the Americana Festival and start working on his third studio album.
Before wrapping up the interview, we took Tim to task in our ‘Pop Quiz’ with questions about John Farnham, Midnight Oil and Guy Sebastian.
