auspOp favourite Anthony Callea has just notched up his third No.1 album with ‘ARIA Number One Hits In Symphony’.
To launch it, the singer teamed up with Foxtel to film his show with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at Hamer Hall in his hometown of Melbourne earlier this month.
That TV special is set to air in December, with a full national tour to follow throughout July and August next year.
In part two of our feature, Anthony reflects on his time on both ‘Australian Idol’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’.
Back in 2004, Anthony came runner up on the second season of ‘Australian Idol’ to Casey Donovan. That season also featured the likes of Ricki Lee, Em Rusciano and Amali Ward.
Brad apologises, admitting that his favourite was Casey, but Anthony says he had nothing to apologise for and that he has a lot of respect for Casey, that they are still good mates and feels that she is one of the best vocalists in the country.
He also makes mention that he may have been the catalyst for Casey’s journey into the jungle earlier this year.
Anthony also talks about his experiences in the jungle as part of ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’.
Make sure to watch to the end of the clip above for a teaser of part three, in which Anthony mentions his biggest fans who flew into Melbourne to see him play at his aforementioned Foxtel special.
