It’s part three of our In Stereo interview series! And we hope you’re enjoying them.
In part one, we were introduced you to the boys and in part two, we played a game of ‘Who Knows Chris Better’.
In today’s third video, the boys reflect on their time on ‘The X Factor’ and chat about some of their favourite songs from the three EPs they’ve released to date.
They also reflect fondly on the creative process for making the records and explain why they chose to stylize ‘MYDLM’ as an acronym for the track on their ‘Speed Of Sound’ EP instead of its full title ‘Make Your Daddy Like Me’.
It comes as no surprise that In Stereo’s favourite part of their ‘X Factor’ experience was getting to fly to London for the home visits stage and sing in front of Simon Cowell and Olly Murs.
They also reveal that the band had been going for about six months at that point and their debut EP was mostly written and recorded prior to going on the show.
At the end of the video, the boys each reveal a fun fact about themselves. Hint : Ethan goes to school in the Blue Mountains with alpacas, sheep, cows and other farm animals. True story.
Shortly we’ll be unleashing part four, in which the boys talk about their deal with fame and their experiences with social media. If you enjoyed this video please give it a ‘thumbs up’ and subscribe to us on YouTube.
