It’s not too late for Ricki-Lee; the Aussie vocal powerhouse today releasing her first new single in almost three years.
She’s ditched the dancefloor, allowing us to once again hear those powerful, soulful vocals in full flight.
Penned alongside Neil Ormandy and Steve Solomon (James Arthur’s ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’) during her Los Angeles sojourn over the past couple of years, ‘Not Too Late’ marks a new beginning for Ricki-Lee.
“We sat around and talked about our own stories – reflecting on our personal battles of overcoming grief, heartbreak, loss and addiction,” Ricki-Lee explains.
“We wanted the song to be universal but also really personal. For the three of us, the song is about different things; Essentially, it’s about redemption and it never being too late to right our wrongs and start again.
“A lot happens in life and while we’re still alive, we have time to make things right.”
‘Not Too Late’ is available digitally today.
