Evanescence has confirmed they’ll be in Australia in February for three dates as part of their ‘Synthesis’ live 2018 tour.
Naturally, the tour is in support of the band’s fourth studio album ‘Synthesis’, which is set to land at retailers on November 10.
“I’m really looking forward to bringing this new and different show to Australia,” frontwoman Amy Lee says.
“Playing the Sydney Opera House is something I’ve dreamed about all my life. I remember taking the ferry over to Manly during days off on past tours with the band, and looking over at the legendary structure, saying ‘One day, we’re going to play there!’
“I can’t believe it’s finally going to be a reality. We’re all very excited about it.”
Yes, the band will play two dates at Sydney’s iconic Opera House – on February 13 and 14 – with one show each in Melbourne and Brisbane either side.
Fans pre-ordering the new album will get first dibs on tickets from today before a My Ticketek pre-sale goes live on midday local time on Friday, October 06.
