Hot on the heels of his performance at the NRL Grand Final, Macklemore has confirmed a trio of Australian shows early next year.
The US performer stole the show with a stirring rendition of his equality anthem ‘Same Love’, which (thanks predominantly) to Tony Abbott still sits atop the iTunes single chart.
But it’s not just ‘Same Love’ firing on the charts in the wake of his performance; ‘Good Old Days’ with Kesha is at No.3 and ‘Glorious’ with Skylar Grey currently occupies positions 9 and 13.
The good news continues for Macklemore fans this morning, however, with news from Live Nation of East Coast shows in February.
He’ll play Brisbane’s Riverstage on February 02 before making his way south for shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
All shows are all ages.
Live Nation pre-sale tickets are live from 11am local time on Monday October 09, while general public tickets are on sale from 2pm local time on Tuesday October 10.
February 02 : Brisbane (Riverstage)
February 03 : Sydney (Hordern Pavilion)
February 06 : Melbourne (Festival Hall)
