Given that her new album ‘Reputation’ is due to hit retailers across the planet in less than two weeks, this video has probably come at an opportune time.
Lead single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ probably didn’t hit as hard as she and her team would have liked.
‘…Ready For It?’ has picked up the slack in parts and is now clearly serving as the new highlight track prior to the album’s release.
It’s a duplicitous little song; half dark and dirty with Taylor doing her best rap over the beats, the other half sweet as pie pop song with a great little hook.
And the video? Well it’s clear they’ve spent a pretty penny on it, especially in the special effects department.
