UK superstar Sam Smith will return to Australia early next year for a one-off show at the Sydney Opera House.
The affable star, who recently notched up his first Australian No.1 single with ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’, will play the iconic venue on Tuesday January 16.
Naturally, it’s in support of his about-to-be-released sophomore album ‘The Thrill Of It All’, due on November 03.
“Australia, my home away from home, I’m so excited to announce I will be performing at Sydney Opera House next January,” he said in a statement on his social media handles.
To prevent scalping for the one-off show, they’re capped at two tickets per customer and both physical and emailed tickets won’t be issued until early in the new year. The purchaser’s name will also be printed on the ticket and an ID matching that name must be presented at the venue to gain entry.
Frontier’s pre-sale allocation goes on sale from this Thursday, October 12 at midday AEDT.
General public tickets are on sale from Monday October 16 at midday AEDT.
