UK star (and former one fifth one One Direction) Harry Styles has been confirmed to perform at this year’s ARIAs.
It’s been a big year for the affable performer; his debut single ‘Sign Of The Times’ topped the charts here in Australia on its release back in April.
His self-titled debut solo record did much the same thing when it was released a month later.
Now Harry has been confirmed to take to the stage at Australia’s music’s night of nights for a live performance.
And ARIA CEO Dan Rosen couldn’t be happier.
“We are thrilled to welcome the phenomenal Harry Styles back to Sydney to join us at the ARIAs,” he said in a statement. “He is one of the world’s most successful and in-demand solo artists and has a special relationship with his Australian fans. We cannot wait to have him rock the ARIA stage.”
The announcement comes as Harry’s new single ‘Kiwi’ begins to make its presence felt; it was serviced to Australian media earlier this morning and had its video (below) premiered overnight.
The 2017 ARIA Awards take place at the Star Event Centre in Sydney on Tuesday November 28.
It will be telecast across Australia on Channel 9.
