‘Coming Home’ is the latest single from Brisbane band Sheppard and it’s fast turning into a bloody big hit.
Though the band has never again reached the dizzying heights of their No.1 smash ‘Geronimo’, they’ve delivered consistently solid, polished homegrown pop.
But, with a little help from a TV sync deal, their latest single ‘Coming Home’ is their most successful chart-wise since their breakout smash.
And as of yesterday, the single has been certified gold for sales in excess of 35,000 units in Australia.
“We can’t believe the response we’ve had for ‘Coming Home’ from both old fans and new ones,” George Sheppard said in a statement. “It’s great to know we’re reaching so many people with our music.”
The band has also confirmed that their highly anticipated second album is entitled ‘Watching The Sky’ and is set to land at retailers across the country in early May.
In the meantime, however, sit back and enjoy the video for ‘Coming Home’.
