Ready to get ‘Filthy’ with Justin Timberlake? The US pop superstar dropped his new single and video on Friday.
Laced with big fat warped beats and JT’s trademark catchy choruses, ‘Filthy’ feels like a fresh new beginning in much the same way as his 2006 single ‘SexyBack’ did.
It’s dirty and it’s sexy, but it’s also oozing with soul.
Throw in the futuristic video in which JT is seemingly at the controls of a robot taking the stage at a technology fail in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and you’ve got a fair idea that it’s all intended to take Justin into the next phase of his career.
It’s not top ten on iTunes just yet, which suggests it’s not going to be as instantaneous a hit as its aforementioned 2006 predecessor was.
We reckon this one might just be a grower, intended for maximum impact around the release of his new album ‘Man Of The Woods’ early next month.
