Frontier Touring has this afternoon announced that Shaggy will no longer appear at the upcoming RNB Vine Days events.
The series of concerts across the country are due to kick off this Friday, so the announcement is very last minute.
According to Frontier, the withdrawal is due to “a last minute media opportunity in the US”, no doubt surrounding his newly released track with Sting, ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’.
“I’m disappointed to not celebrate RNB Vine Days with my fans, I love performing in Australia and hope to return soon and party old school,” Shaggy said in a statement.
US outfit R&B Blackstreet has been added to the bill to fill in for Shaggy and will appear at all four shows.
