Buoyed by their third place finish at Eurovision last year, Moldova are back and ready to improve on their position in 2018.
SunStroke Project’s impressive showing last year was the best result for the Moldovans since their first appearance back in 2005.
But it’s a tough act to follow, so how will DoReDos do in 2018?
Competing as part of the second semi final on May 10, the trio (Marina Djundiet, Eugeniu Andrianov, and Sergiu Mîța) will have their work cut out with ‘My Lucky Day’.
It’s ever so “Eurovision”… fun, fresh, pop lyrics with a dance beat, some great harmonies and oodles of Eastern European flourishes.
So a bit of fun, but probably not going to set the stage alight. Cinq points.
