Ahead of their performance on the stage at Coachella tomorrow, Aussie duo Dreams drop their latest single ‘Silence’.
Daniel Johns and Luke Steele only recently dropped their debut collaboration ‘No One Defeats Us’, but they’ve been incredibly quick to follow it up with a new groove – and another music video.
This one’s clearly done without the fanfare of its predecessor, which was filmed in the surrounds of Los Angeles, but there’s plenty of colour, flashing lights and clever editing involved here, so plenty of points for that.
It was also the last song recorded for the duo’s upcoming album project and was created within 48 hours “from beginning to end”.
“‘Silence’ is a song which came to us after the Charlottesville riots,” Luke reveals. “It broke our hearts to see the violence and hatred that occurred. We wanted this song to elevate the people, let their voices be heard, inspire them with courage and bravery.”
‘Silence’ is out now. Watch them premiere it live at Coachella at 2pm AEST tomorrow afternoon HERE.
