For the first time in 13 years, pop icon Cher has confirmed she’d headed our way for an Australian tour.
The music megastar was recently in the country to take part in the 40th anniversary celebrations for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.
But now she’s confirmed she’ll be back again in September for shows in our five biggest cities, along with Newcastle.
“My visit to Sydney’s Mardi Gras reminded me how unique and beautiful Australia is,” Cher said in a statement. “It’s been 13 years since I toured there so I thought ‘let’s do it one more time’.”
The ‘Here We Go Again’ tour will kick off at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Wednesday September 26 before it heads up to Brisbane, down to Melbourne and across to Adelaide and Perth. Then it’s back to Sydney for a final show at Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday October 18.
Telstra customers get access to a Telstra Thanks pre-sale from 1pm local time on Friday May 11 (Brisbane, Sydney & Perth), 2pm local time (Melbourne, Newcastle & Adelaide).
