US pop duo Marian Hill have announced they’ll be in Australia in August this year for a pair of live shows.
The pair (Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd) broke through via their 2016 single ‘Down’, which hit the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and peaked just outside the top 50 here.
“People often think Marian Hill is the name of a woman, but we are two songwriters who made a name for ourselves by making minimal, strong, sexy, confident music,” explains Samantha.
There’s plenty more to come from the band, but in the meantime, fans in Sydney and Melbourne will get the chance to experience them in the flesh in a few month’s time.
They’re set to play Manning Bar in Sydney on Wednesday August 22 and the Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Thursday August 23.
A Live Nation pre-sale kicks off at 10am tomorrow morning, with general sales kicking off at 11am local time on Friday May 25.
