Peking Duk are stepping things up a notch with their latest project, premiering two songs as part of their new project called ‘Reprisal’.
And they’ve gone big too… the nine minute music video (which encompasses both tracks) seeing the Canberra natives stepping back in time to seek revenge on a trio of lawless police officers.
Those officers have the townsfolk fed up and it’s seemingly left to our dynamic duo to do something about it.
They go big too, burning down the police station and subsequently going “on the lam”.
A reward is offered for their capture and it would seem that Cloud Control frontman Alister Wright will be the man to capture them (and the reward).
But will he succeed? It’s all very impressive.
First track ‘Fire’ is undoubtedly the most commercial of the two and is primed for commercial radio airplay.
The following track ‘Distant Arizona’ is a slightly grittier electronic piece, with Alister from Cloud Control providing the vocals.
A seriously impressive project from a seriously impressive outfit.
