Fans of Canadian duo Chromeo will have to wait a bit longer to see them; word through today that their upcoming Australian appearances have been cancelled.
David and Patrick were due to touch down for headline performances in Sydney and Melbourne, along with an appearance on the bill at Splendour In The Grass.
Organisers of Splendour have announced that they’ll be replaced by The Presets on the bill.
“We are truly sorry to announce that our upcoming July shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Splendour In The Grass have been cancelled,” the boys said in a statement.
“It’s been so long since we’ve visited you last and we were so excited to play for you. Unfortunately, the rigors of our touring schedule have caught up with us and we need to prioritize our health and wellbeing. We’re being told that this period would be best served as a time to rest.
“This was not an easy call to make. We hope you understand. Please know that we’re doing everything we can to reschedule our time in Australia. We will see you all soon.”
Folks who purchased their tickets online will be automatically refunded.
Folks who purchased their tickets over the counter will need to return to the place of purchase for a full refund.
