John Farnham heads an impressive list of local and international talent for a series of A Day On The Green concerts.
‘The Voice’ will be playing songs from his iconic album ‘Whispering Jack’ at the four shows, along with other classic Farnsy tracks from throughout his career.
But his supporting cast is no less impressive; US songwriter Richard Marx is also on the bill.
Richard delivered a slew of hit singles throughout the ’80s and ’90s, including ‘Should’ve Known Better’, ‘Summer Nights’, ‘Take This Heart’, ‘Hazard’ and ‘Right Here Waiting’.
Daryl Braithwaite is a big fan favourite and will be performing hit songs from his solo and Sherbet days including ‘As The Days Go By’, ‘Howzat’, ‘One Summer’ and the inimitable ‘The Horses’.
There’s also Russell Morris, who’ll be rolling out songs like ‘The Girl That I Love’, ‘Sweet Sweet Love’ and the timeless ‘The Real Thing’.
And Bachelor Girl will also be playing songs from their arsenal of chart and radio hits, including ‘I’m Just A Girl’, ‘Permission To Shine’, ‘Lucky Me’, ‘Treat Me Good’ and, naturally, ‘Buses And Trains’.
Tickets for all shows are on sale at 10am on Friday July 13.
