We’re chuffed to be partnering with Brisbane performer James Oxley today to premiere his sophomore single ‘Miss You’.
The 17 year old dropped his debut single ‘Know Me’ earlier in the year.
Shortly thereafter, he graced our screens as part of the latest edition of ‘The Voice’. And though he didn’t make it too far past the top 100, the experience proved invaluable.
Six months down the track and James is back, armed with his slinky sophomore single ‘Miss You’.
And just ahead of its digital release tomorrow, tonight we’re thrilled to premiere it for you.
“I was inspired to write this song after a long term break up,” James explains.
“With my wicked sense of humour, I describe visual memories mixed with personal features to single her out, letting her know this was about her and is kinda my way of having the last laugh, but through song.
“‘Miss You’ deeply expresses the emotions and thoughts we get while going through a break up, all while expressing self doubt, loneliness and sadness.”
So without further ado… introducing the premiere of James Oxley’s new single ‘Miss You’.
