New Zealand four piece Openside have done it again; dropping another blistering pop earworm in new single ‘Character Flaws’.
They burst out of the gate earlier this year with their intoxicating ‘I Feel Nothing’, still one of our favourite pop moments of 2018.
But they prove with ‘Character Flaws’ that they still have plenty left in the tank.
“‘Character Flaws’ is an anthem for the insecure,” says band frontperson Possum. “When you’re sick of people trying to reassure you that things will get better and you just need to find the fun in wallowing in your self-pity for a while.”
Wallowing in self-pity never sounded so fun!
And the track also comes with a colourful music video, which sees the band straddling the cityscape of Guangzhou in China.
