Before they hang up their hats and say a final ‘Thank You & Goodnight’, Boyzone have confirmed a 2019 Australian tour.
Helmed by Ronan Keating (who you may have seen on Channel 7’s ‘All Together Now’ in recent weeks), the Irish boy band enjoyed a succession of chart hits in their native Ireland and the UK from the mid 1990s.
Songs like ‘Picture Of You’, ‘Love Me For A Reason’ and ‘A Different Beat’ were radio hits here in Australia, while they hit the top five on the ARIA charts with singles ‘No Matter What’ and their cover of Cat Stevens’ ‘Father And Son’.
Back to the tour, meantime, and the boys will make stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, before wrapping things up with a double date on the Gold Coast.
The tour, presented by 1 World Entertainment, kicks off at HBF Stadium in Perth on Saturday March 30 before ambling eastwards.
Tickets are on sale from 9am on Thursday November 29.
