It’s been a big year for the Backstreet Boys, but 2019 looks like being even bigger, with the January release of their new album ‘DNA’.
After a five year absence, Nick, Brian, Kevin, A. J. and Howie burst back onto planet pop earlier this year with their very tasty pop jam ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’.
That track proved that, 23 years after their debut single, they’d lost none of their spunk nor their ear for a stonkingly good pop tune.
They’ve just dropped another rather tasty pop number too; ‘Chances’ set to join ‘Don’t Go Breaking By Heart’ on the boys’ ninth studio album ‘DNA’, due in January.
“When this group started 26 years ago – and through all the highs and lows of our career – we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group,” Howie D explains.
“That’s what I love about this album,” Kevin adds. “We were able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It’s our DNA. We’re really proud of that.”
Look for ‘DNA’ landing at your favourite retailer on Friday January 25.
