Sydney performer Belle Lucia has just dropped her debut single ‘Call My Name’, a pop track brimming with lightness, confidence and spunk.
And if her more than one million Instagram followers have any say, the single will be soaring towards the upper echelons of the Aussie charts as we speak.
‘Call My Name’ is the result of a bubbling collaboration between Belle and Aussie super producer Jesse Porsches. So taken with Belle’s talent, he signed her to his very own label Flossy.
And it’s a deeply personal piece, dealing with the trials and tribulations of long-distance relationships.
“I spend a lot of my time traveling with work and so it was important for me to write about something that I was personally going through,” Belle explains.
“Music has always been a part of my life, from a young age I would always be the girl singing in talent competitions and jazz bands. I’m so ecstatic to finally be sharing my first piece of music with you.”
We’re really digging this lively little number, which overflows with tropical flourishes… transporting the listener to a sun-kissed beach in the tropics. Ideal then, for the warmer conditions across the country this week.
Turn it up loud.
