Australian pop darling Kate Miller-Heidke has been chosen by a panel of experts and the Aussie public as our 2019 Eurovision entrant.
The singer, who’s classically trained, wowed the live audience on the Gold Coast last night and a national TV audience to be chosen as our 2019 pick.
And her win was an emphatic one; topping both the judges and public votes.
She’ll now perform in Tel Aviv in May as part of this year’s competition.
The Electric Fields boys ran a close second in both jury and public vote, with Sheppard placing third.
Courtney Act and Alfie Arcuri finished fourth and fifth respectively, with Aydan, Mark Vincent, Tania Doko, Leea Nanos and Ella Hooper rounding out the top ten.
