The Queen of Pop, Madonna, has dropped a new single and confirmed the release of her 14th studio album, ‘Madame X’.
To be released in the middle of June, the album is the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Rebel Heart’ and was influenced stylistically by her time in the Portuguese capital Lisbon over recent years.
“Lisbon is where my record was born,” Madonna says in a statement. “I found my tribe there and a magical world of incredible musicians that reinforced my belief that music across the world is truly all connected and is the soul of the universe.”
The new album will be released in both 13 track standard and 15 track deluxe editions (deluxe cover image above; standard at the bottom of the article).
The deluxe edition will contain the bonus tracks ‘Extreme Occident’ and ‘Looking For Mercy’.
Both feature Madonna’s new single ‘Medellin’, which features a guest vocal from Colombian performer Maluma (listen below). A video will drop next Thursday.
