Fresh from the success of his debut EP ‘Ready’, local teen prodigy Ruel has delivered his latest aural pill, ‘Painkiller’.
The Sydney-based performer first landed on our radar back in 2017 via the stunning ‘Don’t Tell Me’, which went on to claim our No.1 Pop Song Of 2017.
Subsequent releases such as ‘Dazed & Confused’ and ‘Ready’ have also found favour with Australian audiences. So much so that tickets for his upcoming tour, which shares its name with this new single, have been snapped up eagerly by punters across the country (six shows have already sold out).
‘Painkiller’ once again sees Ruel teaming up with long-time producer M-Phazes for a track that’s co-penned with previous collaborator Sarah Aarons (who’s also written tracks for Khalid, Zedd, Meg Mac, The Rubens and more).
Check out the official ‘Painkiller’ video below. Or catch Ruel on his Aussie tour, which kicks off this Sunday in Brisbane.
