Sydney singer-songwriter Diana Rouvas has been crowned the winner of the 2019 season of ‘The Voice’.
The singer edged out Daniel Shaw, Zeek Power and Jordan Anthony in tonight’s Grand Final, telecast on Channel 9.
Diana’s no stranger to the competition, having participated back in 2012, finishing fifth.
This time, however, she’s made it all the way and has subsequently released her winner’s single ‘Wait For No One’, which she co-penned alongside Eric Aranda.
The win also sees her pick up a recording contract with EMI Australia, as well as a cool $100,000 prize.
“A huge congratulations to Diana Rouvas on an incredible win in tonight’s ‘The Voice’ Grand Finale,” EMI Managing Director John O’Donnell said in a statement. “We are thrilled to welcome Diana to the EMI family and congratulate her and all the artists on ‘The Voice’ 2019.”
