Some of Australia’s biggest music names will come together in the name of bushfire relief for the ‘Fire Fight Australia’ concert.
To be held at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Sunday February 16, the concert will be hosted by comedian Celeste Barber, who’s already done more than her fair share of fundraising in the past month, contributing more than $50 million dollars via a social media campaign.
The Fire Fight line-up is impressive, given it includes Australian music luminaries such as John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, Tina Arena, Icehouse, Daryl Braithwaite, Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, Conrad Sewell, Hilltop Hoods, Peking Duk, Amy Shark and more.
But then you add in Queen and Adam Lambert, k.d. Lang and Alice Cooper and you’ve got one seriously impressive line-up.
All profits will go towards key organisations which provide “rescue, relief and recovery and rehabilitation” on the back of one of the worst fire seasons the country has ever experienced.
Tickets are on sale at midday today HERE.
