We’d really like to talk about ‘Don’t Want To Talk About It’, the new single from Brisbane artist Briskey.
See, Briskey’s no stranger to the pages of the site, having previously popped up with his debut single ‘Nothing To Lose’ back in August (HERE).
And with another strong offering here, we suspect it’s also not going to be the last time we’ll be talking about him.
“This song is about being torn between committing to a relationship and the fear of going that extra step,” Briskey reveals. “It paints a picture of unspoken distance within a relationship and knowing that if it’s talked about the relationship might end.”
Mix in some mouthwatering mid-tempo beats and a smooth bed of electronic-pop inspired by the likes of Hayden James and Duke Dumont (among others), and you’ve got another sensational slice of home-grown pop.
