Canberra’s Liv Li has dropped ‘Terror Living’, a single inspired by the planet’s myriad current challenges.
Domestically, they included the ongoing drought across much of the country, followed by the most catastrophic bushfire season on record, ensuing floods and, just as everything was getting back to some semblance of normality, Covid-19.
In some way each of them has left their mark on us and left us questioning what’s next.
“I think it’s that uncertainty that breeds anxiety,” Liv explains. “And for me this song was a way of making a conscious effort not to live in that place. Not to exist there. In the “what if”.
“Not to love from there, make decisions from that place and not to dwell there. To recognise when fear and anxiety take over and I’m ‘terror living’.”
Co-penned and produced by the boys from Msquared (Michael Delorenzis and Michael Paynter), ‘Terror Living’ is the lead single from an upcoming EP entitled ‘Who We Are’.
Two other tracks, ‘Freaks And Dreamers’ and ‘Silence’ are set to follow.
And as with her previous releases, ‘Terror Living’ is high quality, beautifully produced and further evidence that Liv Li has a bright, beautiful career ahead.
