Sydney’s Jakøb is back with a new groove all about getting used to one’s own company during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Produced by Bread N’ Butter in the Harbour City, the track is Jakøb’s third release of 2020 and is the latest in a series of convincing pop moments; packing a punch in its sub-two and a half minute package.
“When writing this song, I was going through a time where I didn’t have much to do due to what was going on in the world, although that was the case I enjoyed having my own company as it had become the new normal for me,” he explains.
“I wanted to write this song about being lazy and not having to worry about what’s going on around me, almost like I was in my own bubble where I could do whatever I wanted just by myself.”
And inspired by a Covid-19 lockdown, we now have another Jakøb pop nugget to call our own.
