It’s been a big few days for Sydney trio Glades, dropping a new single and announcing the release of their sophomore album ‘Planetarium’.
Karina, Cam and Joey have come a long way in the four and a half years since we first got to know them in a feature.
They’ve released a slew of top pop singles in that time, each as glimmering and as addictive as the other.
They dropped their debut album ‘To Love You’ back in late 2018. They also subsequently inked a deal with the team at Warner and have hot-footed it across to Los Angeles; smell them!
And now they’re ready to release their all-important sophomore album.
Following on from the singles ‘Crush’, ‘Blonde’ and ‘Vertigo’, the band dropped ‘Dancing In The Mirror’ on Friday.
It’s a powerful statement of body positivity from Karina.
“I’m not ashamed to say that I did struggle with my own body image,” she reveals. “For a long time a mirror was something that I shied away from.
“Lately I’ve been dancing in the mirror.”
‘Dancing In The Mirror’ joins the aforementioned ‘Crush’, ‘Blonde’ and ‘Vertigo’ on the new album, which is slated for release on Friday April 30.
