Music legend Diana Ross has released her new single ‘Thank You’, the title track from a forthcoming album.
Ms Ross needs no introduction, having started her performing career back in the late 1950s.
She went on to achieve phenomenal global success along with The Supremes and then throughout a glittering solo career peppered with anthems including ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’, ‘Touch Me In The Morning’, ‘Love Hangover’, ‘Upside Down’ and ‘I’m Coming Out’.
It’s been a staggering 15 years since she last delivered a record (2006’s ‘I Love You’), but the wait for her legion of loyal followers is almost over.
“This collection of songs is my gift to you with appreciation and love,” she says. “I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time.”
Ms Ross co-penned songs on the album alongside the likes of Mark “Spike” Stent, Jack Antonoff, Jimmy Napes and more.
The new 13 track collection, ‘Thank You’, will land at retailers across the planet on Friday September 10.
