Supergroup The Killers have confirmed that their seventh studio album ‘Pressure Machine’ will land at retail next month.
The new long player comes just twelve months since the release of the band’s previous album ‘Imploding The Mirage’.
But with no international touring on the horizon, frontman Brandon Flowers got creative.
“Everything came to this grinding halt and it was the first time in a long time for me that I was faced with silence,” he explains. “And out of that silence this record began to bloom, full of songs that would have otherwise been too quiet and drowned out by the noise of typical Killers records.”
As such, expect a much more restrained affair when the 11 tracker lands at your favourite music provider on Friday August 13.
We’ve also been told to expect the band down under for a national tour at some stage next year.
