Alfie Arcuri delivers a light-hearted ode to taking chances and living your best life on his new single ‘Devil’s Lips’.
The talented singer and former ‘The Voice’ favourite assembled a team of talented LGBTIQ+ community member for the bright and colourful music video, which accompany’s the song’s release today; the clip paying tribute to famous gay photographers of the ’80s and ’90s.
“Everyone on the set donated their time and talent,” Alfie reveals. “It was an amazing feeling on the day and beautiful reminder of the community coming together for the love of our craft and why we do what we do! We wanted to create a really fun visual and draw inspiration from the past to create a colourful landscape of hope and passion in this current climate.”
That current climate, naturally, is the global pandemic; a pandemic that up to now has kept Australia’s border largely closed, meaning Alfie’s not been able to come home since representing Australia at the New Wave Festival in Russia last month.
Hopefully the video for ‘Devil’s Lips’ will more than make up for his absence.
