Dynamic duo Dekleyn are sure to put a spring in your step with their summery new single ‘Did We Move Too Fast’.
The Sydney popsters (Matthew DeCelis and Justin Kleyn) have quickly made a name for themselves among Aussie pop’s crop of up and comers over the past few years, thanks to a succession of likeable tracks and even a debut album.
The new single, however, is all about following one’s dreams.
“It focuses on a couple who have left their hometown to chase something more,” the boys explain. “They’ve left to discover what the world has for them however they reflect on the criticism of those back home who think they’ve rushed the decision and think it won’t work out.
“The chorus says, ‘have we lost our heads, they’ll never know’, which is representing that they’ll never return or care for those that doubted them. This is definitely one of our favourite lyrical songs we’ve ever made!”
Brilliantly, fans in both Sydney and Melbourne will get the chance to see Dekleyn perform the track live at shows from late next month.
