Living in the moment. That’s what the brand new Isabel Wood single ‘Run & Hide’ is all about.
The Queensland-based singer is no stranger to the pages of auspOp, having featured a number of times since we got to know her back in 2019.
We’re obviously not the only ones to spot her talent, however, with confirmation that she’s inked a deal with Central Station Records.
And the first fruit of that new collaboration is ‘Run & Hide’ which, as we made mention, is all about living in the moment.
“I feel like society expects us to be constantly productive in chasing our goals, and the weight of that expectation can so easily cause us to lose touch with the little moments that make life beautiful,” Isabel explains. “This song is my own personal reminder to not take myself too seriously and never let other people’s expectations take the enjoyment out of life.”
We’ve been told there’s plenty more to come from the Isabel Wood catalogue in 2022, but for now, sit back and enjoy ‘Run & Hide’.
